The Northwest Suburban Bar Association (NWSBA) along with the NWSBA Foundation recently held their Annual Golf Outing at the Schaumburg Country Club on August 21, 2019. The NWSBA holds this golf outing each year to raise money for the NWSBA Foundation to support its scholarship program and annual High School Mock Trial Invitational. Proceed Innovative helped sponsor the event along with other local businesses and members of our team attended the event.
NWSBA Annual Golf Outing
The NWSBA Annual Golf Outing is an all day event. The golfing began at 10:30 after the registration and there was a bags tournament at 2:00 pm. The golf and bags tournaments were followed by a wine event in the afternoon and an award dinner in the evening. Several members of the Proceed Innovative team participated in the bags tournament.

About the NWSBA and NWSBA Foundation Activities
The NWSBA is a voluntary bar association with more than 650 members that serves the northwest Chicago suburbs. They are committed to serving their local community through excellence in the practice of law. The NWSBA Foundation is the charity of the NWSBA that supports activities that serve the community including the Foundation Scholarship Program and the Annual High School Mock Trial Invitational.
The Foundation Scholarship Program offers the Honorable Timothy C. Evans Scholarship to law school students attending an accredited law school in the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division. This scholarship is funded by voluntary contributions made by NWSBA members as well as contributions from charity events such as the NWSBA Annual Golf Outing. The scholarship is awarded to students who have shown a commitment to the highest scholastic standards.
The High School Mock Trial Invitational was started in 1982 under the direction of the Standing Committee on Law-Related Education for the Public to increase the understanding of the legal system and the role of lawyers for high school students. Students and teachers from public and private high schools in Illinois can participate and compete in the mock trial using case materials put together by the Law-Related Education Committee.
The NWSBA has been able to serve their local community thanks to contributions from its members and from charity events such as the NWSBA Annual Golf Outing. Proceed Innovative is proud to have helped sponsor this event and we look forward to next year’s golf outing.
